It's Cabot !!

Headed out early Friday morning the 17th for Saratoga NY
for the Balloon & Craft Festival.
 1st I had to Stop in Waitsfield and transfer all the goods out of my Van to the Cabot Van and then I was underway.

I always snap a picture of the Big Moose Deli which always looks more packed every time I go by.

When I arrived at the fairgrounds and found what seemed like my "hidden"
entrance, I entered, got signed in,and found my location then parked to unload.

 I was early as usual so hardly anyone was there yet but thats make my unloading and setting up much less complicated and I don't feel rushed.

The Pavilion was pretty sparse looking when I entered, but there were some pretty elaborate setups there and folks were getting ready before I arrived, some had arrived the day before, not the day of.

 One of those was Good Old Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.

I finished by basic set-up, other than filling bowls etc, and then took a walk around to see what things looked like, and drove the Van to the Vendors parking which was about 300 yd's or more away.
It was quite windy too so even though we were under cover I was glad I had brought the tent weights with me and lots of packing tape to keep the table talkers etc, from blowing back over to VT.

I noticed the name on one of the buildings and it made me wonder if this Townley was related to the Cabot CEO Ed.

An Amish family was there selling baked goods and these 2 boys pictured here were helping their Mom and they were two of the nicest, polite boys you could ask for, and as a bonus?

They loved Cabot Cheese !!

Not long after the place opened up for business it got busy and stayed that way all afternoon Friday and all day Saturday from whistle to whistle.

I had people at the table constantly making bathroom breaks and eating difficult but everyone was so receptive to Cabot, I could have sold a ton of cheese, and I think I was the only vendor there that was not selling.

 I had some disappointed fans there because I wasn't selling but after I explained they understood, I handed them a coupon and Legacy Brochure and told them where they could find it locally, so it was all good.

My next door neighbors  "Alaska Artisan Coffee"  were very nice people and kept me supplied with my morning coffee all weekend and it is outstanding coffee.
I didn't try all of it yet, but I love the "Tundra Mud" a lot.

Managed to take a picture outside on my walk to the bathroom when it had slowed down a bit and it was a very active place especially when the Balloons and other entertainment was going on, which was almost constantly.

They had entertainment inside and outside all the time during the day and evening
like this Juggling Act.

The Balloon's launched early morning and late afternoon every day so that was always a special time, I arrived before Craft hours Saturday to film & take picture's of some of that activity.

Sunday they canceled some balloon activity because of winds or weather? so thing's were a little slower Sunday.

This one was getting airborne but it was close to the trees on takeoff.

 All in all it was a busy and fun filled weekend and glad I could work the event.
