NEW HAMPSHIRE MAGAZINE AND THE RIVER 106.7 IN CONJUNCTION WITH CUZ'IN RICHARD ENTERTAINMENT ASSOCIATES
&
THE BOSTON COMEDY FESTIVAL
Presents

The Cabot Creamery Co-op Farmers generously decided to participate in this Charitable event to help raise funds for the.
"NH Milk Producers Emergency Relief Fund"
Plus to help raise awareness of the plight of so many of the
New Hampshire Dairy Producers, about half which are members of the
Cabot Creamery Co-op.

Mr Richard Smith of "Cuzin Richard Entertainment" generously offered a portion of the proceeds of this Comedy Gala to The Relief Fund.
Of which we are most Grateful.

Not a bad day to travel though and since I had never done an event here before, I got an early start to make sure I was on time just in case there was an issue on location, or locating my contact person at the Opera House.

The Opera house is located upstairs of the City Hall building right in Lebanon. I was set up in the downstairs Lobby.

Got there early and found "Cuzin Richard" so all was good at that point, but I did not realize there was a transition of personnel between the daily staffing, and event staffing, so I was in a "Lock Down" mode for a while until after the transition.
So I had to just pile my stuff in the corner and wait for that to happen.

Once the transition was over I was allowed to set up my table and get ready for the patrons of the event to show up.

I had to use a smaller table than the one I brought since there were two presentation tables there and the Office door would have been blocked so I was using a scaled down set up which was fine for this event.

I was set up next to the Celtic Dancers table which was not staffed but had pictures and contact information about the group.

As the doors were opened people started to come in and get tickets etc and they had a pair of musicians performing behind the ticket booth and just below the stairs leading up to the opera house.

The duo was made up of Fiddler Roger Buiridge.
He is originally from the UK and now lives in Epson, New Hampshire .
and
Anthony Santoro who is a Burlington VT. Native I believe.
He was playing the Uilleann bagpipes which uses an air-pump under your arm to inflate the bag rather than the traditional breath method, it was unusual to me since I had never seen that method, as well an Italian playing the Pipes either.
Both men were very talented and I videoed a little of the pre-show entertainment.

As more and more of the crowd came in the I walked away from my table to talk and mingle with the crowd to thank everyone for their support of the farmers and promote our Cabot products explaining our involvement in this important issue.

I happened to turn back around and see these two folks greedily pilfering my cheese bowl, little did they know they would be caught red handed.
Mark and Roland were released on their own recognizance & no charges were filed so the event went on smoothly in spite of the small disruption.

After the show started I waiting for a few more minutes for any stragglers to show up and then I bagged up my stuff and headed back to the ranch, rolled in my door yard about 10:30 safe and sound.

Glad I was able to jump in and do this event it was enjoyable evening and I got to meet one of the builders of the Largest "Smoothie" in the world no less, recorded by the Guinness Book of World Record's
1000 whopping Gallons and it was consumed at one sitting too, which may also be a record, or so they say

Glad I could be a part of it, till next time.
