Hunger Mountain Co-op hosted their 25th annual
"Community Food & Wellness Fair"

Nov, 3rd 2018.
Hunger Mountain Co-op is a well known and respected community owned Market and Café located on Stone Cutters Way in Montpelier VT.

They are being visited again by Cabot Cheese to participate in this years
Wellness Fair event taking place in the Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier.

Not only is Cabot famous for their "Worlds Best Cheddar"
The Cabot Farmers also formed and still operate a pretty well known & respected Co-op as well.

Lets get the show on the road.
Got to the location a tad earlier than I wanted too but at least it was not a problem getting through the crowd to get set up

Got in and found my spot

There was hardly anyone there so that made it easy, on my part anyway.

Got my basic setup done and then I had some time to walk around and see who else was there.

A few more vendors had made the scene by now.

My neighbor across the aisle was from the village of Cabot.
"Rhapsody Tempeh" which is an Indonesian Soy Bean based protein dish
which I had never tried and still haven't.

"Sweet Doe Gelato" from Chelsea VT was across the aisle too, makers of Goats Milk products like Ice cream etc. never had a chance to partake of that either.

But enough of that since they were about to drop the flag for the start of the event so I had to finish up my setup and get ready to serve some of the
"Worlds Best Cheddar" and "Chatter" to promote our great brand.

Everybody is saying make America "Grate" Again, but if you are on a tight schedule and just want to use a delicious time saver Cabot has got you covered.
The shreds are "Seriously" good, and no need to "grate"
.
As Bessie the heifer drops the Mic and walks off.

Neighbor to my left was Sonia's Salsa so my snacking was taken care of .
They are a local vendor as well from Jericho VT. some great all natural and healthy Salsa, I preferred the Hot one myself.

Biblically "Joshua fit the battle of Jericho and the walls came tumbling down"
but Locally, Sonia brought the bottle from Jericho and the Salsa came came tumbling down and it was "Grate" as well.

Traffic flow was strong and very busy the whole time, so lots of interaction the entire day.

So at the end of the day I folded the tent and headed back to home, when I left the house in the morning it was @48° and raining off and on, when I started back home it was about 39° and raining in Montpelier, but as I was nearing home I hit some slushy snowflakes.

And of course living in the NEK when I pulled into  my door yard it was 32° and snowing ... Go Figure !!...

Made it home safe and sound which is the main thing & I had a very rewarding day and glad I was able to represent the farmers and be a part of it.
Ovr'n Out
