Shop-Rite of Brookdale
Bloomfield New Jersey
Bloomfield New Jersey was incorporated as a township from portions of Newark Township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 23, 1812.
At the time, the Presbyterian parish's namesake, Joseph Bloomfield, was governor of New Jersey and had recently been appointed brigadier general for service in the looming War of 1812.
The Bloomfield Presbyterian Church was also named after Mr. Bloomfield.
But I was not here to boast about the past of Bloomfield but on the contrary, I was here boast about the history of the Cabot Co-op and help boost the future of it by showing the people of Bloomfield in every way I could, how wonderful it is, we both have so much to be proud of.
We were sampling and telling the story of our founding farm families and all the progress they have made since 1919 with our founders collection of Cheese, 3 of which are Adirondack, Private Stock, and Orne Meadow named in honor of Tom Orne a founding Cheese Maker of Cabot Creamery. Along with a more modern and convenient selection of our latest Cracker Cuts.
So lets move on along.

Another great crew working the stand today as well
Stacy, Allison, Lisa & Lori
Wednesday was a rainy Day which would have been bad either out front or over on the side, so the very Gracious Manager gave us a prime spot right up front by the Cabot Cooler and the Entrance.
Lori, Arlene, Allison, Lisa, all doing a great job.
Cabot Cooler kept stocked to capacity by the store staff .
Day 5 back out front
Lori, Stacy, Lisa lighting up the Stage.
Little different set-up than before just the Cabot Farm Stand and no tent.
Family of one of the daily prize winners came by to say thanks and sign up for another shot at a prize. All big Cabot fans.
Had a little excitement today as well, not sure what happened exactly but they got thing's squared away pretty quick.
So that day wrapped it up for me & I hope things went well the other days and I'm sure they did baring any other bad weather etc.
So I loaded up and headed out into a beautiful sunset that evening.
Glad I could be a part of it .
