Customer Appreciation Festival the Weekend of August 25th,26th at Hunger Mountain Coop
I was there Saturday August 25th Represent'n The Farmers
And what a great Day it was.
We had on display, and Sampled Seriously Sharp, Extra Sharp, Sharp
Pepper Jack, Alpine and also promoting our New Shreds featuring the
"Farmers Two State Cheddar a Smooth Blend of Sharp & Mild Cheddar"
~0~
Got there about 8:45 AM and the COOP table out front was beginning to get setup.
I got in and after they cleaned me out a spot, I got setup, loaded and opened for "bidness"
The last time I was there I had to use a tiny table due to lack of room but this time they got me a nice spot, so I was able to use my 6' table, a little cramped but not overly so, it worked out great.
Did my best to promote our new Shreds and I had a quite a bit of positive response.
I had a pad of recipes for Pimento and Cheese so I made some using the shreds and Yogurt and bought some Rice Crackers to serve it on and it went over very well. I served it as opposed to letting people help them selves that might have gotten Ugly.
They had the Cabot Cooler loaded up and the cheese was on sale too so I think that went well also.
They had a decent variety of Jasper Hill there as well.
A guy was there represent'n Fat Toad Farm Caramels all of which were very good, especially with a nice chunk of Cabot Cheese dipped in it.
Another fellow was there doing HEIWA TOFU not sure how it was since I don't do TOFU.
About 1/2 way through my day my boss came in to do some shopping and he said I was never in the picture of my write ups so he took my picture.
Thank God I wasn't taking a nap.
It was a pretty successful day and lots of good response about the line of cheese and the company in general.
Glad I was able to be a part of it.
Till Next Time
Ovr'n out
