Final Taste New York Event of The Year at Saratoga
and What a Great and Successful Year it has been.
Met People from all over the Country and from Over The State of New York.
Today was College Day, college students and alumni were invited to enjoy an afternoon at the Saratoga Spa.
The Coca-Cola Saratoga Pavilion where I was, featured an array of special activities and giveaways for all the
guests along with the usual varied spirits and a selection of the Worlds Best "Cracker Cuts"
So lets get to the recap.

Left home at the usual time @6:00
stopped for Gas, Coffee, Muffin in Rutland and it rained most of the way there but quit around Whitehall NY, and for whatever reason I made good time so when I got there the place was like a ghost town in the tent.

Had a new performer there this week Jeff Brisben, and he was there very early he said he wanted to get a good parking spot so I'm thinking he must have gotten it.

Lugged all my stuff in and then headed over and parked my rig, I get special parking so that was not an issue for me

When I came back over others were getting all set up.

Got the basics set up ready to go but had an hr or so to kill before the starting whistle.

As the flag was about to drop I loaded up the goods and was ready for the onslaught.

Jeff fired up the sound system and away we go.

As always it starts off mild with people wandering around aimlessly.

Then in about a 1/2 hr it starts and can be a frenzy at time after that when I can barely keep up.

And it stayed like that all day including right up until quiting time.

Once we start breaking down the alcohol has pretty much taken over and everybody loves me and my heifers so since it was my last week there I gave my heifers away and these two loved their gifts from the farmers but I didn't get a hug.

This lady below has been a loyal fan there every week she loves the Cabot Pepper Jack and usually her and her boyfriend are my most loyal patrons.

I had never heard Jeff perform before and he did mostly all ballad type songs but he was a great singer and was almost non stop the whole time.
The fans all loved him .

After everything was over I packed up and headed home traffic is usually pretty heavy but smooths out once I hit the VT state line, last night going along  Rt 107 which is usually rather mild I saw a lot of flashing light up ahead and somebody had driven off the road and hit a tree not sure about casualties but the car center punched a tree and looked nasty from my brief glimpse. I pray all survived with no injuries but it looked bad.

Ok thats its for this event so until next time.
Jim
