I thought when I got the invite to do this event I would feel like a fish out of water, but noooo.
I was welcomed there with open arms especially once I got going.
I had spent the night in town and awoke early and had a light breakfast, then I headed for the College to see if I could get in a bit early, but as usual I got there way to early.
This is what I saw as the sun came up over the college.
Which is way nicer than what the sun saw when it woke up looking back at me.
As usual for me after I did a little schmoozing with the Siena College Crew so I was allowed to get in before the organizer arrived to let me in, which I appreciated very much.
As soon as I got in I saw that I wasn't the only one running a little late, some others were barely set up at all when I got there, so I was feeling better about not getting there the night before.
The aisles were looking pretty sparse when I arrived.
Every aisle was about the same, but I was the first one there besides the maintenance staff.
There were a multitude of vendors there, if you name it, they had it almost.

Some young smart entrepreneurs who started "The Maids" cleaning service
Then my neighbors moved in next door who had my favorite stuff, all sorts of bakery items made using pure natural ingredients like Cabot unsalted butter, the best on the market by far, and also another favorite product of mine King Arthur Flour so their items were all very tasty, and loaded with natural goodness.

You can also check out the "Bad Ass Cycling Studio" as well
Looking pretty good in the "Keep Calm and Cycle like a bad ass sweat shirt"
But of course the most popular table there was the "Cabot Farmers Cheese Table".
Everyone made a point to stop to enjoy the "Worlds Best Cheddar", and get introduced to the awesome new Line of Cheddar from Cabot, the "Legacy Line", created to honor the heritage of our cheese makers of old.
Which was received with much acclaim all day by the way.

The Place was busy all day Saturday from start to finish.
The aisle right in front of my table was active all day long.
The stage to the right of the Cabot table was in use by different and talented performers off and on through out the day, this young below, named lady Kristi Blow, had a great voice and played acoustic guitar.
I think she had cast iron vocal chords and fingers because she played and sang at least an hr nonstop.
There was also a self defense instructor there who put on a demonstration on both days as well, which was very entertaining to the ladies in the crowd, since they got to beat up on a male mannequin at will .
Which they brutalized with glee I might add..:-)

The crowd just kept coming all day one of the organizers said attendance was a record number with over 3700 people in attendance, and another 2000 the following Sunday.
Another Acoustic Guitar player and singer who performed there was a 17 yr old young lady with an outstanding voice as well named, Alicia Bautista.
Wonderful Talent and a pleasure to listen to.

And of course last but not least was the group "lifehouse" they did a few numbers and got much applause and appreciation for their appearance there.

All in all a very good event, busy the whole time with lots of good questions about the brand and of course the quality and the great taste of the Cabot Cheddars.
Keep Calm and Cheddar on..:-)
Over'N Out.
